When thousands of students enter medical school, having to go through student loans and Payday One help, most of them might have understood the reason why they chose this profession. Why does one become a doctor? Is it because of monetary reasons? Is it because of the status that a doctor commands in the society? Or is it because of the love for science?
A doctor or physician treats thousands of people in his or her career. While doing this, there are certain inherent qualities desired. A doctor has got to love human beings. A doctor has got to be kind. A doctor has got to be brave. A doctor has got to be patient.
This is just a sample of the attributes a doctor should have. A doctor is sometimes regarded as the next best person after God. That’s because a doctor has the power to save a life. A single most deciding factor for many students to pursue a career as a physician. They want to be able to have the power to save lives. They want the feelings of accomplishment and infinite joy one gets when lives are saved.
A doctor is there to save lives. A single wrong move could mean the end for a life. A doctor has to take the burden of saving lives. Of curing the illnesses of people. Of responding to calls of people in terminal health conditions in the middle of the night. All this comes only if there is a deep desire to help people. Why do you want to become a doctor? You would have got the answer by now. A doctor saves, cures, heals.
